Hemoglobin (Hgb or Hb) is a protein found in red blood cells which is required to transport oxygen throughout the body. Your blood needs hemoglobin levels to be in the normal range to provide oxygen to the cells in your body. Low hemoglobin levels result in various types of anemia which can cause symptoms like fatigue, dizziness, headaches, and shortness of breath. High levels of hemoglobin are less common and can also result in similar symptoms to low hemoglobin in the blood.

Passing dark urine that is dark yellow or dark brown could mean something as simple as being dehydrated, or it could be as serious as a problem with your liver. In other cases, dark colored urine that is brown, orange, tea colored or even black can be caused by certain foods, medications, a urinary tract infection, or other health issues. In most cases, there is nothing to worry about if you have noticed that your pee has turned a darker color.

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) happens when microbes or germs infect your bladder, kidneys, urethra, and other parts of your urinary system. UTIs usually cause a painful burning sensation when urinating and can affect both men and women. Depending on which part of your urinary system is affected, a UTI can cause fever, chills, abdominal pain, and abnormal discharge.

Tapeworm (also called cestode) is a type of parasite infecting humans and animals. The symptoms of a tapeworm infection in humans can include abdominal pain, diarrhea, fatigue or weight loss. In some cases, tapeworm infection (medical name taeniasis) can cause other symptoms such as headaches and itchy red rash. Sometimes, stool from a human affected by these parasitic worms will contain eggs and segments of tapeworm.

Waking up with numb or tingling hands in the morning is a common experience for many people. In most cases, sleeping on one hand can press on nerves in your hand, causing a sensation of “pins and needles.” In some cases, you may even find that your hands are completely numb after sleeping. Usually, when you change position, sensation quickly returns to your hands and the tingling disappears.

A blood clot in your leg that is associated with deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can cause your lower leg to be sore, swollen, and red. A blood clot that develops deep in the veins of one of your legs can result in serious complications. If the leg clot doesn’t dissolve naturally, it can travel through your veins, eventually reaching your lungs and cause a pulmonary embolism.

Some of the reasons why your left hand is itching could be due to an allergy, dry skin, irritation, or stress. Usually, the tingling, irritation, or prickly sensation in your palm or fingers is a temporary condition and is nothing to worry about. However, having a constant hand itch, itchy bumps on your hand, an itchy wrist, or irritating rash on your palm can be very annoying and inconvenient.
