Cramps after sex is a common experience for many women. In many cases, feeling abdominal cramping pain after sex is nothing to worry about and could just be a result of sexual activity. However, stomach cramping after making love could be a sign of an underlying health condition like ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, or a urinary tract infection.

For many women, having a fishy vaginal odor can be a very distressing and embarrassing condition. Usually, vaginal discharge doesn’t have a distinct smell; so, a strong fishy odor from vaginal discharge usually indicates that there is a health issue to address. Most of the time, a fishy vaginal smell is an indicator of an infection in the genitals. However, poor hygiene, excessive sweating, or even certain foods can cause a vagina to have a fishy smell.

Montgomery glands are located around the nipple and Montgomery tubercles are small bumps at the opening of these glands. These small bumps on the areola (the dark area around the nipple) and the nipple itself can become raised and bumpy at the start of pregnancy. However, sometimes a blockage in Montgomery glands, infection, or stimulation can also make the Montgomery tubercles appear larger.

The area around your genital region is very delicate and is prone to various types of infections. Bumps, spots, or other types of raised lesions could be the results of something as harmless as an ingrown hair or razor bumps, or  it can be a serious viral infection like herpes or genital warts. It can also be difficult to tell ingrown hairs near your genitals apart from genital herpes bumps and blisters.

White bumps or spots on your tongue can tell a lot about your health. Small white bumps that appear on the back of your tongue, under your tongue, or on the surface of your tongue can be caused by a yeast infection or inflammation of your taste buds. Sometimes, the white tongue spots are the result of a weakened immune system that causes whitish sores and ulcers to appear on the surface and tip of the tongue. Or, the white spots could be a tongue blister that has been caused by biting, burning or injuring your tongue.

Implantation bleeding doesn’t last a long time; in fact, with some women implantation bleeding lasts such a short time that they don’t notice it at all. The duration of implantation bleeding may be just a few hours or it could last a few days. Unlike spotting before your period, implantation spotting doesn’t result in a period.

Dark or black period blood will often cause many women to worry because they are used to menstrual blood being deep red color. Thankfully, the appearance of dark brown, almost black spots connected with your menstrual period is not usually a sign that something is wrong. In fact, many women experience some black or dark spotting especially toward the end of their period.
